Discovering My Love

Two years ago I met a wonderful woman. I was travelling from Bangkok to Laos on a night train when I saw her. I knew I had to introduce myself. We travelled together for a few weeks and then parted ways thinking we would never see each other again.

Fast forward a year and she decides she’s going to come and visit me in Cape Town. I was happy, excited, and kind of nervous but I knew we would have a great time and there was so much to show her.

Eventually, she decided to settle here. We moved in together and found stability. When we met in Laos I had no idea that she was such a great cook and so creative in the kitchen. I was introduced to nuts, seeds, and dried fruit that I had never tried before and I fell in love… again.

The Problem

The only problem was that whenever I went shopping for nuts, seeds, and dried fruit it was always a huge hassle.

The big retailers seemed to have a small selection and the sizes were always made for snacking. I found that I had to go out of my way to find what I wanted, which felt like an unnecessary waste of time and incredibly frustrating. It took time away from what I actually wanted and needed to do.

The Solution

Eventually I decided that I’d had enough. I was going to solve this problem myself. I was going to bring all the tastiest nuts, seeds, and dried fruit to the market in a convenient, hassle-free way. I was going to start an online store.
